Layla Shaikley is the Cofounder of Wise Systems. To date, she and her team have raised $23 million to develop the smartest next-generation routing software in the world.
Her eclectic resume reflects her dynamic personality. In fact, you may have first heard of Layla when her YouTube video "Muslim Hipsters: #mipsterz" became a viral sensation. She was a NASA intern, an Instagram influencer, and now an entrepreneur. While pursuing her Masters of Science in Architecture at MIT, Layla designed software for the first time to bridge development and data to help better protect those in conflict zones like Iraq.
